Our Story
Siloam is rooted in transformation, obedience, and mission.
The inspiration behind Siloam comes from the story told in John 9. In that Scripture, Jesus notices a man who had been blind from birth — someone the world had learned to overlook, but someone He didn’t choose to overlook. Before the man ever asks for help, Jesus sees him. He acknowledges him when others don’t.
Jesus then responds in a way no one would expect. He doesn't immediately heal the man with a word. Instead, He bends down, makes mud with His saliva, and places it on the man’s eyes. For a man who is already blind, this action could have felt confusing, uncomfortable, and even unnecessary. Yet Jesus does not explain Himself. He gives a command.
He sends the man to wash in the Pool of Siloam. Siloam means “sent.”
In that moment, the man has a choice. He can’t see Jesus. He can’t see the pool. He has no proof that this act will lead to healing. All he has is the word of Christ. And still, he obeys. He goes. He washes. And only after obedience does he receive sight.
The man is seen by Jesus before he is healed. He is marked by Christ before he understands what Christ is doing. Transformation comes not through comfort or explanation, but through trust and obedience to the voice of Jesus.
That story is the foundation of this brand.
Siloam exists to reflect what that moment represents: a God who works in unexpected ways, sees the overlooked, transforms lives, and then sends people with purpose. Being changed by Christ is never meant to end with us. It leads to obedience, and obedience leads to mission — carrying the Gospel into the world through how we live.
Our slogan, “Washed. Sent. Seen.”, captures that journey.
Washed — renewed and transformed by God’s grace.
Sent — called to do God’s will and spread the Gospel.
Seen — known by Christ, a living testimony of what God has done.
Siloam was created from a personal conviction: that faith is not private and the Gospel is not passive. God is not calling His people to hide their faith, but to spread the Good News of Jesus, and walk boldly in obedience, even when the path is unclear. Our clothing is a reminder — not of status, but of calling.
Every piece is designed to carry meaning, spark conversation, and draw attention to what God has done. Siloam is more than clothing — it is a reflection of a life seen by Christ, transformed through obedience, and committed to His mission.
